How UV-C works

The U-Vir 300 uses 254nm UV-C light to neutralise the DNA and RNA of airborne microorganisms, rendering them unable to replicate. Air is drawn continuously through the disinfection chamber, so the air in the space is treated on an ongoing basis.

This is a physical mechanism, not a chemical one — no ozone, no free radicals, no residual by-products. Operation is safe for continuous use with people, animals, and food present.
